Horses (mechanical) in Przedzamcze. No one is surprised by this, is it? Horses are a standard means of transport that we associate with the "mobility" of our ancestors. Every Lord of Lidzbark Castle had
wonderful horses in his stable. Guests who came here to visit also travelled on steeds of the best breeds. Did the bishops of Warmia ride horses? Definitely not - it was not in keeping with the dignity of their office. They used more dignified means of transport, befitting their position. Cradles, carriages, sleighs, carriages and coaches - there were certainly
in the bishop's estates. The more skillfully made the vehicle, the more expensive, the more lavish, the more impressive the harness, the better the appearance and prestige. Has anything changed over the years? In fact, not much - live horses were replaced with mechanical ones. And the best, most beautiful, from the best stables – we can admire in Przedzamcze.
The historic character of the Krasicki Hotel, its centuries-old walls perfectly harmonize with the silhouettes of not only historic, but also fast sports cars. The roar of multi-cylinder engines, surrounded by medieval brick, becomes a pleasant purr. The most predatory features of racing brands soften in combination with Baroque monumentality, but also the softness of ornaments. In such a beautiful scenery, you can organize gatherings of horsepower enthusiasts!
Our automotive experience would already allow us to open a good, four-star workshop! We have already organized meetings of historic Saabs, Volvos, Ford Mustangs, modern Porsches or Ferraris. Each of these groups of cars has an undeniable charm and creates a unique atmosphere. I guess we can compare love for a specific brand, for one's car, with love for another person. We are not writing "to a woman" on purpose, because not only men are lovers of four wheels. There are more and more women among the car owners associated with motor clubs! And this is of course very pleasing.
Yes, yes - we can already hear the question - "where to park these unique (often very expensive) cars? Does the hotel have a parking lot for such wonders?" The hotel has, and not "any" parking lot, but a huge courtyard of extraordinary beauty, with only one gate leading to it, locked at night! We can park several dozen cars in our courtyard. They are guarded not only by the watchful eye of the camera, but also by Saint Catherine looking down from the height of the plinth. The courtyard is connected to a bridge over a moat and is a perfect place for a dinner to sum up the meeting. Right after the rally, of course. Of course, with coffee, tea and compote ;-) After all, you don't ride on horsepower on double gas...
